Cancellation Policy - Rizoma Travel

 

Cancellation Policy for One-Day or Shorter Trips

  • Cancellation with 7 Days or More Notice: Travelers who cancel 7 days or more before the scheduled start date will receive a 100% refund. The amount will be credited to your Rizoma Wallet for use in future bookings.

  • Cancellation Within 24 Hours After Booking: If you cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation and at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure date and time, you will receive a full refund credited to your Rizoma Wallet.

  • Cancellation Between 7 and 4 Days Before the Trip: If the cancellation occurs between 7 and 4 days before the scheduled departure, a 30% penalty will apply. The remaining 70% will be credited to your Rizoma Wallet.

  • Cancellation Between 4 Days and 24 Hours Before the Trip: Cancellations made within this period will incur a 70% penalty. The remaining 30% will be credited to your Rizoma Wallet.

  • No Show or Cancellation Less Than 24 Hours Before the Trip: In case of no-show or cancellation less than 24 hours before the trip, there will be no refund, and the right to the amount paid will be lost.

Cancellation Policy for Multi-Day Trips

  • Cancellation with 11 Days or More Notice: Canceling with 11 days or more notice will entitle you to a 100% refund credited to your Rizoma Wallet.

  • Cancellation Within 24 Hours After Booking: As with one-day trips, if you cancel within 24 hours of booking and at least 24 hours before the departure, you will receive a full refund credited to your Rizoma Wallet.

  • Cancellation Between 11 and 7 Days Before the Trip: A cancellation in this period will incur a 30% penalty, with the remaining 70% credited to your Rizoma Wallet.

  • Cancellation Between 7 Days and 24 Hours Before the Trip: A 70% penalty will apply, with the remaining 30% credited to your Rizoma Wallet.

  • No Show or Cancellation Less Than 24 Hours Before the Trip: No refund will be issued, and the right to the amount paid will be lost.

Cancellation Policy for National Parks

  • Given that bookings in Colombia’s National Natural Parks are more restrictive, any changes to trips to destinations such as the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy, Nevado de Santa Isabel, and Nevado del Tolima will incur a 70% penalty. Rescheduling without cost will not be permitted.

 

Additional Considerations

  • Communication: Modifications or unforeseen changes to itineraries will be communicated via WhatsApp. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that the contact number provided is correct. Rizoma Travel will not be liable for any lack of communication due to errors, and no refunds will be made under such circumstances.

  • Refunds: All refunds will be credited exclusively to the customer's Rizoma Wallet. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
